More delicious choices! I think the scales may be tipped against dessert because so many of us have Baking Chez Moi on the go. This is the opposite problem to the one we had at the beginning of Around My French Table – then, a lot of people had just finished Baking From My Home To Yours and were nominating all the desserts. Maybe next month we could choose the most-voted-for dessert and savoury dish.

I reckon at this rate we will end up with a month of desserts at the end of this – we do need to be mindful. I think you can pull some strings as Admins too (ie: executive decisions!!)

Um, I’m pretty sure those were my choices, so I guess that’s why I’m so happy! I think these will be terrific for the month. And BTW, there’s nothing that says that people can’t post the desserts they all make to finish their dinners! 😊

Hee hee! I added the MPK to the graphic because it was too long to write it all out. Plus, on the chance we continue beyond this particular book, I thought it’d be good to include the book we’re doing. 🙂

Hi Katie,
I was thinking that could we have the nomination poll up by the first week of each month to select for the following month’s recipes, eg. nomination in first week of April for May? Reason is, so that we have more time to source for ingredients, if needed, and also to plan the cook/bake in advance. With school going kids, sometimes, timing can be pretty crazy!
I would love to know everyone’s thoughts on this!

Thanks, Joyce, for the suggestion. I will speak with the other admins about adjusting our nominating/voting schedule. I can definitely see how this first recipe for April is a bit of a time crunch, particularly if there’s some difficulty with ingredients.
