I can’t believe it’s already time to be thinking about July!
Our Fridays for July will be
July 1
July 15
I’m going to ask that you refrain from nominating any recipes from the Main Courses chapter this month. When looking at our completed recipes page, it is notable that we’ve completed far more main courses (5) compared to the other chapters (2 each). Though the main courses are lovely, this is in the interest of balance in the longer term!
Fennel, radish, orange & crab salad (90)
Buckwheat madeleines (270)

I agree with Karen – let’s step up and do the sardine rillettes! And I vote for the vegetable slaw, too.

I nominate:
Buckwheat Crepes with ham, cheese and eggs, 135 (fun French street food)
Raw Vegetable Slaw, 96 (There is an error in the recipe. It is two teaspoons of minced garlic in the dressing and not two tablespoons.)
The madeleines are on 270, as Cher said, not 27.

Ooops that’s my bad – I didn’t write the “0” in my 270.

How do you know there is an error in the recipe? I just used two cloves of garlic…

Who says sardines aren’t attractive?
I second Karen with sardine rillettes and the slaw

Um, remember the sardines from AMFT? I don’t think anyone made them look pretty!

I recall liking the sardine Rillettes from AMFT, so I am actually looking forward to trying this recipe for comparison.
