A tagine can be a bit like that sometimes. I used chicken breast and simmered slowly with chunks of squash and it was good, but I wanted the sauce to be thicker (again, tagines sometimes have that watery sauce). LikeLike Reply

I felt like all the flavor ended up in the broth and not the food.

Yes mine was excellent the second day but still wanted thicker sauce!
