I’m going to suggest this is not a weeknight meal. 3 hours to cook? That caught me off guard! Also: HOW do you remove cabbage leaves easily? Mine was a complete hack job (and I only made 1/2 the recipe). Interested to see everyone’s takes on this!
i’ve seen ppl blanch the whole head of cabbage to soften it first before removing leaves (and also makes rolling easier). obvi this adds another time consuming step…
Yeah I read that as well but I wasn’t using the whole head so didn’t go in that direction. these were tasty but I’ll leave the cabbage rolls to the excellent Polish restaurants in my neighbourhood in the future!
