Thanks for the nominations!
As always, vote for the 2 recipes you’d like to make in November. I hope to have the schedule posted early next week after the vote tally!

September seems to culturally carry a sense of re-starting things after a playful summer so it’s only appropriate that we take on a new schedule and shift our focus solely to Everyday Dorie this coming month. It’s been an exciting and tasty 3.5 years working through MPK, but I speak for all the admins and our intrepid bloggers that we are SO ready for a new book!
As I was updating the “completed recipes” page, I realized we might just have made it past the halfway mark with our dear, intrepid Cook then Book Fridays crew. And, yes, November 2017 is the halfway point, time-wise! (Recipe-wise, it’s December 15, 2017.)
Some numbers, if I counted everything correctly:
21 months left
53 recipes remaining (this includes December ’17 recipes, as do all figures below)
6 Appetizer recipes
7 First course recipes
15 Main course recipes
October 4, 2019 = final LYL

We are going for it. Welcome FFwD folk and others! We’ve been wondering about a new project for our group and we decided to just put together something.
